how it gets done

A writer writes- when it's the first thing on your mind when you wake up and the last thing you think about before you fall asleep, you just might be a redneck, haha. No a writer. You may not even know until you try. everyone out there has hidden talents, don't think not me, that's bull and your lazy. Get up off your shoulders and do something with your life. if it's not working, change it. If you hate the one your with, walk away. RIGHT NOW! This is your time, take a shot and don't let anyone try to stop you. With their hands and especially their words. Words cannot stop you, only you can stop your own progress in life. If it knocks you down, get the fuck up, dust yourself off and keep moving on! Wasted talent is the worst thing on this planet. Just think if everyone lived up to their potential, the world would be a much better place. Reach for it, learn about it and then go do it, one way or another. Life is short, your 16, then in a flash your 60. Shit, where did the time go? It's never to late for anything. I just read about a guy like 56 and never played guitar. Within 3 years he became known as the new blues king out of Memphis. He plays down on Beal st. You know what I'm talking about if you been down there. B.B. King!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about a man never giving up on his dreams and he didn't know he had them, until he heard this certain song on the radio. Life will run you over if you let it. Don't just sit there and wait for the truck to do it. My book was lost a couple times, it took 15 years to finish, I had very little time to write at all because of 40 plus hours at work through the years, the over all downer of all the shitty words from family and friends ( so called jokes) like your never gonna get published, you might as well quit while your ahead. I hate that saying. AHEAD OF WHAT!!!! Your never ahead until you get where your going, not where your at or where you been. Now take your head out of your ass and get to work. Good luck on all your plans, ideas and your hidden talent. Figure out what it is and run with it.

  1. I totally agree! Last year I finally graduated from nursing school. It was something that I wanted to do all my life but "never had the time or money" finally I made it happen and I am so happy. Now my husband of 18 years who hates his job as a diesel mechanic is going back to college to be a nurse too. It is never too late to make your dreams happen just get off your ass and do it!
