The Circle of Life

Well today on the Facebook, I got a slap in the face. Someone friended me, then on I.M. they asked how old I was. I told the truth, 40 and I got back, " Man your really old. " then they stopped talking. I find it ironic that someone would say that to me. All the people that ever knew me, and my explotes are still the thoughts of legend in a lot of minds, and that's just the time I was in school. I have done what most people would call crazy. I pushed the envelope of life many more times, than any one man should have. But it seems that since I am 40 now, I don't have anything interesting to add to the conversation. It seems that every generation feels they are smarter than the ones that came before them. At least once in every life, they make a statement. Don't dis those you don't know, no matter what their age. I quote " Everyone deserves to add a verse." You may learn a single thing or a life full of adventure. You'll never know unless you talk to those, you choose to ignore now. Knowledge is power and kindness is a God given right. Take the time to get to know the ones that came before you. Volenteer to read to the elderly at an old folks home, that is the core of O.G. to me. The ones that survived much worse tragedies than much of us out here. And last of all, never take for granted those who died, so called for their country. I think they die for their own individual idea's of military service and some that were forced to be there, those drafted over all these years of war. I'm sure you will find an interesting story or two there. The past can be historic, prevocative, adventurous, sexy, remorseful and free of mercy. It can be many, many things you know nothing about. Well what ever you do come across, I hope you enjoy the time you took to learn something new. Well until next time.
