Cause and Effect

Most people couldn't give to shakes about cause and effect. Not even thinking of the aftermath of what they have done. In the simplest of terms, all of us change the world everyday. For the good or the bad, it happens all the time. Especially in your own home. Lets just say me, I screw the lid on to tight for my wife to open. It's a jar, and it slips out of her hand. The glass shatters all over the floor, and before it can be cleaned up, one of the kids cuts their foot deep. Now it's time to go to the hospital. On the way you are distracted by a scream from your kid, and the next thing you know, your in a head on collision. Everyone but you dies! It's like a ripple on the water. Imagine all that you have effected by just one little act. It may seem small and ridiculous, but it's not. I have seen the kind of ripple, that turns into a tidal wave. So remember, always put the seat down and all those other small things a man needs to look out for. For a woman it's the same, just other things, like certain words at the wrong time. I know this guy that woke up smiling, but over heard his wife on the phone. He took what she said the wrong way. She was actually talking about someone else. He left without her knowing, ended up at a bar way to early and got in a bar fight. He didn't mean to, but his cause and effect was, an empty beer bottle, a comment that made him madder and a quick burst of rage. The guy is dead and he will probably never get out of the hell hole he is in. So next time you decide to kick that rock on the side walk, think twice. Someone may step on it, trip, fall and break their neck. Cause and effect, so watch your step! Until next time.

Off the Cuff

I thought I would just wing it today. I got a tablet with a couple pages filled with ideas to write about on my blog, but I thought I would begin a new series. Off the Cuff : A reach in and grab what ever is in there at the moment.
For starters, I think the coach of the Huskers is doing a great job turning our team around, and they have a real shot at the Championship this year. The Big 12 title will be ours, the last year we are still in it, big ten next year. Imagine all the games we will get to see of them next year, that won't be pay-per-view. Every Saturday during the season, you turn on CBS and you get Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio St., Penn St. and so on. The big ten teams are always on and the good games to!
Then there's the whole Obama thing going on. Come on people, he is not the one that put us in debt. Look to the  Bush and before. And the WAR, he didn't start it, he is trying to figure it out, just like the rest of us. I would hate to have that job. You think about all those stars out there, made about the paparazzi and fans invading there lives. Well Obama has got everyone up and on his ass, how would you like that. It will take time to get every thing back on track. Take it one day at a time, rather than I'm going to be broke forever or just plain thinking to yourself, negative crap all the time. What ever you send out, that's what your going to get back. It's called The Law of Attraction. Change your state of thought and it will change your state of mind. You change your state of mind and good things will come your way. If every one in this wide world all thought that way, this world of ours, would be a much better place. Give a smile as you walk out your door, look as if the world is your oyster as you walk down the street. Think of your job, to be the best place to work and you of course are the best worker in the place. And continue this thinking with everything you do, and you will slowly see the changes around you. Everyday try this little exercise. Close your eyes, if only for five minutes of your day. Don't think of it as a chore, but a pleasure. Make sure you are alone, the bathroom is a good place if the house is crowded. Sit on the bowl or in the bath. Like I said, close your eyes and imagine something you want. A new car or a new job, getting a big check in the mail, something you want within reason. Don't go overboard, be realistic. Then see yourself getting that job, walking out your door and down to the mailbox, looking at the outside of that special car then getting in and going for a drive in it. If you can really see it, sooner or later it will come, but you must hold on to the positive state of mind. That's the only way it can work. The universe picks up on your thoughts like carrier ways, it has been scientifically proven. It doesn't matter if you believe in this, it believes in you. Your potential is up to you and don't start, then think a couple days later, this ain't working, I'm never going to get what I want. Imagine your thought being like the grass growing. Your thoughts start like seeds, as a positive thing growing. It doesn't get big over night, it takes time. Now imagine you getting negative in thought, instead of the grass continuing to grow, it goes back down like it has no water, sun and it dies! Think about it! The dark thoughts in your mind swirl around you like the wind. They effect everyone around you, and so on. Imagine that ripple effect happening everyday. No wonder everyone is worried about 2012. If we don't all change our thought process, well I think you know where I'm going with this. Well I think I went far enough today, and of course it's all just my Opinion, take it as you will. Until next time, think positive.

It's there choice, not yours

I figured, why not follow the last one on the church and roll right into Pro-Choice. I am a two headed Dragon, when it comes to this! On one hand, I don't think it's the right thing to do, under normal circumstances. A woman should never use abortion as a form of birth control. I've seen it myself, when I was younger, she did it a lot as far as I know. Side bar, I just got a phone call, my son, My Jr. " Dad the doctor said they may have miscalculated the due date, and she is going into labor tonight or tomorrow!"  It will be Jeremy Main The 3rd.
Anyway, on the other hand, there are many reasons a woman would get an abortion. If she was RAPED by some sicko that is a career rapist. Would you force your daughter to keep that child? NO YOU WOULDN"T!
Think about that when your stand outside one of those places, holding up your signs and spitting at these women! How about if the child is deformed and will die soon after birth? WHAT THEN? Or it could kill the mother to give birth? HOW ABOUT THAT! Some just go to get birth control and rubbers. What about those women and young girls. Imagine your own daughter going away some where, away from you, just to talk to those people. Because she was scared, because it wasn't planned, because she is only sixteen. What do you think now? Is it still so black and white to all of you, or have you joined me in all that gray out there? That's why I am a two headed dragon when it comes to that. I would never ask any woman to do that, even growing up. I'm a classic case of teen pregnancy. My mom was seventeen when she gave birth to me Christmas night, in 1970. I started having kids when I was sixteen. It can be a cycle that never ends. Both my older kids have done it to. Daygo at 18 and Jr. now at 19. I would never want any of my kids to choose abortion and I don't think they ever would. Well until next time.

It's all about the kids

My grand kids call me Papa, not grandpa. I got six kids and 3 grand babies. Ellie jean, I call her Jelly Bean, is 2, Dean Main Jr, I call him Chico, is 1. He is 3 feet tall and 30 pounds, he is going to be a beast, a sexy beast, he is a beautiful boy. NFL size and I'm loving that, he'll probably end up like 6 foot 5inches. The newest addition was just born on the 17th, Roxane, but I call her Sweet Pea, like from Popeye. She was only 5.13 pounds when she came out. Chico looks like a giant compared to her. My only son Jeremy Main Jr is 18, is married and they are about to have Jeremy Main the 3rd. I'm proud as a peacock that my son wanted to keep that family name growing. Ash is his wife, I love her as if she was really my daughter, should be giving birth any day now and it will be her first birth. Chico is my little right hand man and Papa is one of his favorite words. I love watching them, when they don't know your watching them. Their expressions are priceless. It amazes me how much the grand babies have bonded to me and my wife Angie. If all else fails, give them to Papa, I will calm them down or just plain put them out, by singing one song after another. You are my sunshine, Silent night, play that funky music white boy, I'm a little tea pot and others. About 10 songs later, they are out. It makes it real hard when they always want to be fused to your hip, but they are definitely worth it. I wouldn't trade all the moments with them, for all the gold in Fort Knox. Especially with how inquisitive my Jelly Bean is. She talks so much and wants to learn everything, new words come popping out all the time. She loves the word burp now, she wants everyone to do it. She is smart as a wip and I would want to die if they were ever gone from my life. I hope the kids never move far away, so if I want, I will always have a chance to see them everyday. It can't just be me, lots of you out there feel that very same way, anyway, that's how I feel about that subject, I'm sure I'll end up with at least 10 grand babies before it's all said and done. Until next time.
